It does a disservice to call this business just a dentist office. At Deering Dental, they completely redefined a dentist appointment, where patients’ experience is actively cultivated by every staff member to eliminate any anxiety or discomfort. From the moment one walks in the door and is handed a menu of complimentary items to choose from to the tv to watch while in the chair (Netflix, HBO, others), the primary focus is patient comfort and satisfaction. For the first time in 24 years of having kids, I have one that is excited to go back to the dentist; it’s unheard of. Special shoutout to hygienist Angie who is the first person in over 10 years to give me a deep cleaning during which it didn’t feel like old grudges were being settled. Most importantly, my family feels like we’re finally being treated as individuals and having our whole health considered, rather than being thrown a corporate, algorithmic approach that’s best for the insurance company. Because of constant moving, we’ve been to dozens of dentists over the years. Dr Pinto and her office are, without question, the best we’ve ever experienced.
