Your questions, answered

Is Premier Access dental insurance?

No. It’s a yearly membership you pay us directly, with no claims and no waiting periods. It’s for guests who want preventive care kept simple and meaningful savings on the care they actually use.

Who is it for?

Guests who want a closer relationship with the practice: priority access, preventive care handled, and member pricing on whatever treatment they choose.

Can my family join?

Yes. Add a spouse or dependents aged 13 and older at $74 a month each, or $838 a year.

What’s the term, and can I cancel?

Membership runs 12 months from your enrollment date and renews automatically. You have 14 days from renewal to cancel for a full refund, as long as no care has been used. Full cancellation terms are in the plan details below.

Where is my care provided?

Most of your care happens in our Palmetto Bay office. When you need a specialist, our Preferred Partner Network extends your membership beyond our walls: an endodontist, an oral surgeon, and an ENT, with more specialties on the way. You receive 10% off their standard fees at every partner, so your benefits follow you to nearly any treatment you might need.

Do you cover root canals?

We don’t perform root canals in-house. Our biomimetic approach prevents so many of them that keeping a full-time endodontist here no longer makes sense. When one is needed, we refer you to the trusted endodontist in our Preferred Partner Network, where your membership earns you 10% off their fees, then restore the tooth back in our office so your care stays coordinated.

Plan details & exclusions

Premier Access can’t be combined with dental insurance. If you have coverage, you’re welcome to join, but you can’t use your insurance with us while you’re a member. Some guests whose out-of-network benefits pay little choose membership instead.

Membership can’t be applied retroactively.

For guests with a history of periodontal disease who need maintenance 3 to 4 times a year, the plan covers 2 of those visits; the 3rd and 4th are discounted 15%. Exams and X-rays at those visits, if needed, are covered 100%.

The plan doesn’t provide benefits if you choose to see a specialist outside our Preferred Partner Network.

The plan doesn’t apply to treatment needs originating from a Workers’ Compensation or Employer Liability claim.

If you gain dental insurance while your membership is active (for example, through a new employer), your membership continues. The one-or-the-other rule still applies: you choose to use either your membership or your insurance with us, never both. Your membership only ends if you decide to use your insurance instead.

“Family members” are defined as a spouse and dependents aged 13+.

All memberships are set up on auto-pay and auto-renewal, renewing on your enrollment date. You have 14 days from renewal to cancel for a full refund, provided no treatment has been rendered (including cleanings and exams). After 14 days but before 6 months, a $450 cancellation fee applies, and payments already made are credited toward it. After 6 months, you’re responsible for the full unpaid annual balance, with payments credited toward it.

Membership is non-transferable.

If a treatment plan is presented while your membership is active and the membership lapses before treatment moves forward or completes, membership discounts are removed from the remaining fees.
